Crystal Law joined Forrester & Company as an associate after completing her articles with the firm. During her articles and as an associate, Crystal assisted counsel with numerous complex commercial litigation matters including shareholder disputes, breach of contract, estate litigation, and secured transactions. Crystal regularly appears before the BC Small Claims Court, BC Supreme Court, and in chambers.
Crystal attended law school at the University of Windsor in Ontario after obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in political science and psychology (double major) from the University of British Columbia. While in law school, Crystal was actively involved in various student organizations including Christian Legal Fellowship, Asian Law Students’ Organization, International Law Society, and Pro Bono Students Canada. She advocated for low-income clients while volunteering with Community Legal Aid at Windsor Law and the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program at UBC’s Allard Hall, where she won her first small claims trial. Crystal also represented Windsor Law at the Mathews Dinsdale National Labour Arbitration Competition in Toronto in 2017. In her final year of law school, Crystal was a judicial intern to the Honourable Justice Douglas W. Phillips at the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor.
Crystal is fluent in Cantonese. In her spare time, she likes to hike, travel, read, and sample the variety of cuisines that Vancouver has to offer.
